Project Management Institute (PMI) Southern Caribbean (PMI SC) is a member of the PMI, the world's leading association for those who consider project, program or portfolio management their profession. In keeping with the PMI philosophy, our objective is to deliver to members, partners and general users of our website pertinent information relating to project management. In so doing, depending on the information needed, we may need to collect additional data/information from our users.
As a general rule, visitors to the PMI SC website can browse freely and the site does not ask for any, nor collect any data. However, should a visitor be asked to submit data, e.g. registration for events, and the visitor provides the requested information, the PMI SC guarantees that the information will only be used to support the activity/event for which the information was requested and will not be shared with any other party. The PMI SC’s website is maintained by a leading provider of website and data management services to the project management community. Any unauthorized access to this website will be monitored by the provider and the Management of PMI SC will be notified as needed. The website is updated by the PMI SC Secretariat only, with information that is approved by the Board of Directors of PMI SC. Users can only upload information to the site as directed by the PMI SC.
Being an association of professionals, the PMI SC maintains a register of members to better serve our membership. The PMI SC’s goal is to maintain an accurate register of members and from time to time, members may be asked to validate the data held in the register. The original members’ data is provided by PMI and maintained by PMI SC. The register is not shared with any other entity.
Members’ access to some services and content is password protected. PMI members can access their personal information by logging into My PMI with their user ID and password, following the directions listed under "Change Personal Information". Members may also contact PMI Customer Care to request a change in personal information. It is recommended that members do not divulge their password to anyone. PMI SC will never ask a member to reveal their password under any circumstance and it is recommended that members do not disclose their user name and password to others.
Data transmission over the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Therefore, despite best efforts to protect personal information, PMI SC cannot completely ensure or warrant the security of any information transmitted to the organization nor from the organization to its members from our online platform. Members transmit all such information at their own risk; however, once a transmission is received, the PMI SC will make every effort to ensure the safety and security on its systems.

The PMI SC does not use automatic decision-making or engage in profiling that may result in legal effects or similarly significant effects on the membership.
