ATP Accreditation

The PMI’s Registered Education Provider (REP) program is being replaced by the Authorized Training Partner (ATP) program. The new program is the result of global market research and customer data indicating the need for not only content to more reliably be aligned with PMI testing, but for there to be higher consistently across instructors of PMI exam testing prep.

Who can be an Authorised Training Partner (A.T.P.)?

Earners of the Authorized Training Partner Instructor badge possess a PMP® certification as well as Agile project experience.  Through their knowledge and experience they have demonstrated their skill and expertise in preparing students to sit for the PMP® certification exam.

 

Earning Criteria
Trainers are required to complete a 2-day training course reviewing the technical aspects of the new PMP® exam, with added focus on agile and hybrid approaches.  Additionally, they must master the new facilitation techniques in how modern learners learn and leading courses in a virtual environment.
 
Instructors must be certified PMP® credential holders and be in good standing with PMI.
 
Instructors must have agile project experience to teach PMP® exam prep courses.

Program Benefits — Choose Basic or Premier.  The program offers two tiers: Premier and Basic. Both provide a license to teach PMI-licensed content and the tools to support the training. The Premier package includes additional benefits to augment your training as well as opportunities to grow your business through exclusive access to RFPs and channel management support. If you wish to focus solely on supporting and training existing certification holders, you may offer PDU-only courses through the basic tier.
 
PMI® Authorized Training Partner Program Licensed Course Content: 
 
Basic and Premium Authorized Training Partners who deliver PMP® exam prep and Disciplined Agile courses are required to use PMI licensed course content. This ensures a consistent, high quality learning experience and provides the PMI-approved content customers asked for, and the comprehensive knowledge needed to prepare for the exams.
