PRESENTATION OUTLINE: LEARNING OBJECTIVES: PRESENTER BIO: Glenroy London is a well accomplished Energy Sector professional with over 30 years tenure in the local, regional and international sectors .Mr. London’s diverse energy sector expertise spans projects across the broad spectrum of regulatory, downstream, mid-stream and upstream. Apart from being a proficient mechanical engineer who graduated from the University of the West Indies, Mr. London is versed in Production Engineering and Management concepts and holds an MSc Degree, UWI, St. Augustine, Trinidad. Along his career growth and development path, Mr. London obtained an MBA in Finance and Marketing and has since demonstrated an in-depth knowledge and understanding in the applications of Investment Strategy, Project Financing as well as Mergers and Acquisition. As of this time the incumbent is very much endowed with the competence to execute strategic planning and implementation. In this instance the client can be assured of successful application of sustainable development initiatives that provides the client with competitive advantages. This distinctive capability is derived from both academic achievement(MSc Strategic Planning ,Edinburgh Business School, Heriot Watt University, Scotland,UK and practical hands on application at bpTT Next Gas Project where a 30% step change in contract spend value add locally was attained by working in collaboration with key stakeholders such as Strategy Consultant- Accenture and Sustainable Development Manager-Anthony Paul. Mr. London specific role was Local Content/Fabrication Manager. Strategy was articulated from a perspective of content, context and process together with phasing. Through astute measures, innovative thinking, entrepreneurial spirit and combined with the ability to lead high performance, multi-cultural, multi-disciplined teams to attain extraordinary performance engaging transformational leadership concepts, successful client results are articulated and guaranteed to meet strategic goals and objectives consistent with client aspirations, KPI, s and defined metrics. The current state of client affairs are analyzed juxtapose to desired states utilizing scenario analysis. Any identified Gaps are highlighted and defined for implementation of mitigation measures. Project management and Transformational leadership are the tools employed to drive the appropriate change management. Surprises and show stoppers are handled by use of Strategic Risk Management techniques all under the umbrella of Strategic Focus. This approach provides assurance against Strategic Misalignment or Strategic Drift.
