Kristian Bainey is a senior IT leader with 15+ years of experience in AI, digital transformation, and project management across public, private, and academic sectors. He holds degrees in Information Systems, an AI certification, and multiple credentials including PMP, Agile/SCRUM, Prosci, ITIL, and AI. Through K-PIC Systems, he lectures part-time to academic university sectors on AI, IT, Technical Development, Capstone projects, Public Speaking, and project management courses. In addition, he serves as a Chief AI Officer at PrecisionPro BioTech, and he consults on AI strategy and technology integration.
Ron Schmelzer, Director of AI Partnerships & Outreach at PMI, focuses on expanding PMI’s AI offerings through strategic partnerships. He co-founded Cognilytica and developed the widely adopted Cognitive Project Management for AI (CPMAI) methodology, used by Fortune 1000 companies and government agencies worldwide. Ron is CPMAI+E Certified, a lead instructor, and an industry expert on AI best practices and project management. He chairs industry groups, co-hosts the AI Today podcast, contributes to Forbes and TechTarget, and serves as a SXSW Innovation Awards Judge. Previously, he founded TechBreakfast and ZapThink, and holds a B.S. from MIT and an MBA from Johns Hopkins.
