Dear PMISCC Member You are invited to our PMISCC Technical Session & Christmas Social on Wednesday 5th December 2018 between 6.00pm and 8:30pm at the Normandie Hotel, St Ann’s, Port of Spain. Our Keynote Presenter is Mr Wesley Gibbings. TOPIC: The Changing World of Mass Communication Mr. Wesley Gibbings is a freelance journalist, newspaper columnist and media trainer. His journalistic work has been published widely and he has contributed to publications on the media and elections, the rights of the child, climate change and media coverage of migration in the Americas. In 2017, Gibbings was recognized for his journalism and press freedom activism by the US National Association of Black Journalists and received the organization’s Percy Qoboza Foreign Journalist Award. He is also a published poet with four collections to his name. Further details of the technical session will follow in upcoming communication.
